Each symmetrical form, cut and layered against a color field, hovers over it like a collected insect. Reminiscent of microscopic marine life, the cut-outs are glyph-like shapes that evoke natural patterns, temple geometry, and mask motifs, recalling a Mesoamerican visual language, which reflects my layered Mexican identity

These abstract forms conjure complexity and an unknown potential that echoes a natural origin. The work echoes matter’s capacity for emergent properties and life’s ability to create complexity at any scale.
